Guard Patrol System / Guard Monitoring System

Guard Patrol System

Guard Patrol System is a system for monitoring guards assigned to a tour patrol to make sure that they are completing their rounds on time and at their correct locations.

System works with 125 KHz RFID location tags (checkpoints) which are commonly placed at the extreme ends of the tour route and at the critical points such as basement, vital equipment, access points etc. With a simple non-contact swipe, the patrol guard device reads and stores information from those checkpoints.

The system includes also patrol management software to which all patrol records are being uploaded by connecting patrol device to the computer (via USB cable). The software then generates different forms of reports which demonstrate the guards' patrolling activities.

How it works

The patrolling guard takes the device and reads his own Guard ID to identify himself with the system.

Then the guard goes to the checkpoints (according to the defined route) and reads each checkpoint using the device. When reading successfully, device stores the ID number and time for every checkpoint reading.

After patrolling tour is done, the guard connects the device to the computer where patrol management software is installed, and downloads the recorded patrol data into software to get data analysis and generate reports. The device can store up to 30,000 records so it is not necessary to download records daily; records can be downloaded even once per week or month, depending on company requirements. Once data are downloaded from the device to the software, they will be erased from the device automatically, but will always be available in software

Software:

Guard Patrol System includes a Patrol Management Software which allows downloading data from patrol devices and generating reports based on those data.

Patrol Management Software supports the following functions:

  • Registration of checkpoints
  • Registration of patrolling personnel
  • Registration of patrolling events
  • Definition of patrolling routes
  • Generation of reports based on patrolling records
